Natural Resource Studies 2016 – Student Presentations

On Thursday, February 11, staff, community members and supporters of the HGHES semester program gathered at the Ḵay Llnagaay presentation house to witness final student presentations, to close out their studies in First Nations Governance and Natural Resource Management.

The students were broken into 4 groups, each one focusing on a specific area of Indigenous-Colonial history which include: governance, business & industry, public relations, and First Nations relations.

Community members expressed their appreciation for the learnings shared, and the respect paid to indigenous cultures. Many thanks were given to HGSE 352 course instructor Chief Satsan (Herb George) for his knowledge and support through their journeys of discovery.
